The students are imparted intensive training in the field of electronics, the electronics components and instruments. The course includes laboratory practical, workshops and industrial training. Theory and practical on communication, electronics instrumentation, microprocessor, digital and analog circuits, semiconductors, circuits theory and networks analysis, neural networks and opto-electronics apart from basic knowledge in all science subjects is also imparted.
BACHELOR OF APPLIED SCIENCES INSTRUMENTATION (HONS.):
The programme offered is to train students thoroughly with working, maintenance and application of a multiple variety of instruments viz. electrical, electronics, analytical, optical, nuclear and biomedical instruments and microprocessors. Apart from learning basic theory they study instruments structure and practical knowledge that is imparted in methods in reliability and quality control. They are further given intensive training in all the laboratory technique and functioning of the intricate machines. This knowledge enables the students to appropriately fit into the recent environment of industries like pharmaceutical, R&D centres and hospitals etc.
BACHELOR OF APPLIED SCIENCES FOOD TECHNOLOGY (HONS.):
It has been introduced to prepare students to take up the challenge of modern food technology. It trains them to prepare multiple fast food items, jams, jellies, marmalades, and various fruit, vegetables, cereal and meat preparations and their preservation. The central task is to integrate the youth into occupational structure. They are further taught promotional strategies, practice of packaging techniques for food material and processed items, utilization of residual waste/by products of food industry. Innovations in every woman is brought out by means of new product developments in which they are to process any product, which can be introduced into the market.
BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCES (HONS.):
The College runs a B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science courses under Department of Computer Science which is one of the esteemed courses offered by Delhi University. The College provides well equipped fully air-conditioned lab with 24 hr internet facility. Further adding to this is our qualified staff which leaves no stone unturned in shaping the future of our students.
It is six semester course, spread over three years. It covers major areas like Operating System, Computer System Architecture, Data Structure etc., enabling the students to get the answers to all their questions reagrding computers. This course covers the various aspects of computer starting from computers design to software application. Project work is to be done in Last semester.
This institute has all requisite modern equipments, adequate facilities and trained manpower for conducting organized research and training. The students undertake training in various prestigious organisations such NIC, HCL Noida, Ministry of Information Technology Delhi, HFCL, NIIT etc. Most of our students have been recruited in renowned institutes & organisations.
BACHELOR OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES (HONS.):
The B.Sc. (Hons.) course in Biomedical Science has been developed in response to the growing demand for trained and skilled manpower in the field of Biomedical Sciences, The course is not only based on a self reliant curriculum and meant to be employment oriented but also provides meaningful education keeping in view the needs of both the society and the students.
The students in this course are trained in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, Pharmacy, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Techniques etc. and related fields. The students graduating from this course will be able to seek job in the pharmaceutical industry and in the clinical research laboratories. The Government of India has made environmental auditing of industries and hotels mandatory, but due to lack of trained manpower in this area, perhaps it has not been able to implement it as desired. The students trained in environment toxicology, physiology and auditing will have expertise in the monitoring of pollution and pollution agents and their harmful effects. This will qualify them to work as inspector/auditors openfor the certification of industries.
This course will also open up avenues for self-employment such as setting up one's own clinical laboratory, freelance license inspectors for pollution control in industries, setting up of a biotechnology unit for production of commercially viable products etc. The degree will open endless vistas for those interested in research in the field of medicine, biotechnology, microbiology, pharmacology and other allied fields.
This course will make the students eligible for the prestigious M.Sc., Ph.D. integrated degree programme in Biomedical Sciences run by the University of Delhi.
The college has all the requisite modern equipments, adequate infrastructural facilities and trained manpower for conducting organized research and training activities.
In collaboration with CISCO, the Cisco Networking Academy Program (CNAP) is being held in the college and the college has all women CISCO local Academy Centre. Through this programme, students are learning how to design, build and maintain computer networks. They would develop practical computer networking knowledge. This will further aid students to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), a world wide recognized program.
